I am fascinated by the intersection of people and place. Observing the sedimented remains of our urban landscapes, I find that the production and enactment of culture happen with the production of places and spaces. Culture is a set of relationships; therefore cultural geography is the study of how particular social relationships are produced, transformed, and otherwise influenced through those relations coming into conjuncture with particular places.
